DIAGNOSIS

Identify the causes individually – treat discomfort and pain effectively!

Precise Diagnosis and Individualized Therapy in Barcelona

At our clinic in Barcelona, we place great importance on achieving a precise diagnosis — because it is the foundation of every truly effective treatment. Each patient is considered individually, taking into account their complete medical history, current symptoms, and personal perception of the problem.

Our goal is to identify which regulatory system of the body is out of balance and what the true underlying cause of the condition is. Based on this understanding, we design a personalized therapy plan that is perfectly adapted to each individual’s needs.

Combining Conventional Medicine and Holistic Diagnostic Methods

We integrate proven techniques from conventional medicine — such as clinical follow-ups, X-rays, MRI scans, and laboratory analyses — with expanded diagnostic approaches from holistic medicine.

These include:

  • the personal perception of pain,

  • the type of movement restriction,

  • clinical palpation findings, and

  • functional muscle testing based on the principles of applied kinesiology.

This combination allows us to view the body, mind, and function as one system — helping us identify the root cause of dysfunction with greater precision.

Treating the Root Cause, Not Just the Symptoms

Rather than focusing solely on symptom relief, we aim to uncover the root causes of each condition to provide long-lasting results.

Our holistic approach enables us to understand the complexity of each case and significantly improve our patients’ quality of life.

STEFAN SCHWARZ

Identify the causes individually – treat discomfort and pain effectively!

Osteopathy

Osteopathic medicine aims to restore disturbed balances at all functional levels of the human body. It restores the mobility necessary for a person to achieve good health.

The 3 main columns are worked:

1. structural

2. visceral

3. Cranio-sacral

Physiotherapy

Physiotherapy (from the Greek physis, 'nature', and therapéia, 'treatment') is a health discipline that is freely practiced, with university training and education, and offers a non-pharmacological therapeutic alternative.

Laser 15W

It combines the effects of analgesia, inflammation reduction, biostimulation and antimicrobial effects. It offers excellent results in various musculoskeletal conditions, acute and/or chronic.

FDM

FDM, the fascial distortion model according to Stephen Typaldos. Verbal and physical description of the patient, combined with recognition of injury mechanisms and correct orthopedic testing, guide the therapist towards effective soft tissue treatment.

Individualized electromagnetic field

Individual pulsating electromagnetic fields to improve blood circulation and oxygen supply of tissues, energy metabolism and normalization of natural electrical potentials of body cells.

BMS (Biomechanical stimulation)

Biomechanical stimulation (BMS) is based on the transmission of mechanical vibrations with a specific vibration frequency to the neuromuscular system, thus improving blood circulation, nerve stimulation, pain reduction and lymphatic drainage.
