Scope of application
These conditions regulate the provision of physiotherapy and osteopathy services at this clinic.
Accepting an appointment implies acceptance of these conditions:
1. Appointment booking
Appointments are managed only with prior booking, preferably through the booking system on the website.
In specific cases (emergencies or last-minute changes), requests/changes are also accepted via WhatsApp or email.
I do not answer phone calls during treatments, so as not to interrupt the sessions.

Do not use the automatic confirmation email to cancel your appointment, as it does not go directly to the clinic.
2. Waiting time for the first appointment
The waiting time for a first session is usually 1 to 2 weeks.
It may vary depending on holidays or professional training.
3. Consultation by appointment
The practice operates exclusively by appointment. We do not have a receptionist or any other staff to assist the public, so walk-ins are not accepted. I appreciate your personal contact, but please do not come without having booked in advance.
You can make your reservation conveniently online or contact us via WhatsApp or email to resolve any questions.
4. Changes and cancellations
Each patient has a dedicated treatment time slot. Please only cancel your appointment if absolutely necessary, and in that case, at least 12 hours in advance, preferably via WhatsApp or our online booking tool.
In case of late cancellations or unjustified absence, the full amount of the reserved treatment may be charged (according to article 1101 of the Spanish Civil Code).
5. Duration of treatment
First session: always 60 minutes
Subsequent sessions: These can last 30 or 60 minutes, depending on the diagnosis and progress.
6. Number of sessions
The number of treatments depends on various individual factors:
Age, Duration of the problem, Previous pathologies, Previous surgical interventions,
Patient's personal goals, etc.
The therapeutic plan will be tailored to your individual needs.
7. Mutuals
Mutual insurance is not accepted.
The rates offered by mutual insurance companies (between €6-10 per session) do not allow for quality individualized care.
Depending on your policy, some private insurers or international reimbursements may cover part of the treatment. In that case, you will be provided with a detailed invoice for your claim.
8. Payment methods
The following payment methods are accepted after each appointment: Bizum, Card (credit/debit), Cash, Revolut, PayPal
9. Billing
After each session, or if you prefer, at the end of the entire treatment, you will receive an official invoice with all the necessary details.
10. Home visits
Home visits are only offered in special cases and always by prior arrangement. If a home visit is not possible, another qualified professional will be recommended.
11. Data protection
The processing of personal data is carried out in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR). You can find full details in our Privacy Policy.
12. Responsibility
A specific therapeutic outcome is not guaranteed. Treatment depends on individual factors and requires the patient's active cooperation. Stefan Schwarz Physiotherapy and Osteopathy is not responsible for damages resulting from incomplete or inaccurate information provided by the patient.
13. Applicable law and jurisdiction
These terms and conditions are governed by current Spanish law. In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to submit to the jurisdiction of the courts of Barcelona, unless otherwise provided by law.
