Physiotherapy

Physiotherapy (from Greek physis, 'nature', and therapy, 'treatment') is a health discipline of free exercise, with university education and training and offers a non-pharmacological therapeutic alternative.

Its main objective is the study, functional assessment, understanding and management of the movement of the human body, as an essential element of the health and well-being of the individual. In this sense, the actions of this discipline must be oriented to the promotion, prevention, habilitation and rehabilitation in order to recover as much as possible the functions of people, improve their quality of life and contribute to social development.
